Who will it affect, well the people who owned the farms will be working as hired labour, and probably have health issues from all the chemicals, just check what is going on around the world. You the consumer, just check the copious reports on the negative effects of GMO foods. This is nothing more that the corporate collectivisation of farming, with the conivance of governments. Be very careful where you spend your food dollars, pounds, euros or any other money. Ask why have farmers developed crops suited to their locality, look at the vast range of rare breeds of animals, in Britian we have a vast range of old varieties of apples, most of which are not sold because of regulations!!!

Hey wake up folks, remember the old saying "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." The predictions are that in not too many generations the wild salmon will have dissappeared as the monster GMO Frankenfish take over. Ironic isn't it how big global bodies talk about safeguarding Bio Diversity.
